Research & Teaching

The total number of employees is about 150 of which 120 are teachers and research personnel. The number of students is around 500 and about 50 graduate students. Typically some 40 MSc and 10-12 PhD degrees are given in the following fields: accelerator based nuclear- and particle physics, materials science, theoretical nuclear- and particle physics and cosmology, applied physics and including nanoelectronics and pulp and paper science and technology. We also have a strong physics teacher education program.
