Research at the Napoli Unit of the
INFN (Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics) focusses on Subatomic Physics,
Nuclear Physics,
Theoretical Physics, astroparticles and
Astrophysics.
At the Institute, the experimental research groups develop detectors and microelectronics both for particle physics and medical applications, and investigate together with the theoretical physics
group, the fundamental structure of matter and forces in our universe.
The Unit participates to some of the most exciting ongoing
experiments in the field of high energy physics .
The INFN Napoli Unit is hosted in the Department of Physical
Sciences of the University Federico II in Napoli which offers a complete program
of studies in physics, from undergraduate, to doctoral level.
