Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (within
CCLRC)
includes Particle Physics, Space Science, Lasers,
Materials Science Instrumentation, Engineering, Computational
Science and Radio Communications Research
Within the
Particle Physics Department (PPD)
the Research Groups work in collaboration with university groups
on Particle Physics (and Particle Astro-Physics) experiments,
and on detector development, providing also general infra-structure
and support to the UK University groups,
and contributing to the
Training of Research Students.
