Research at the
Faculty of Physics in the
University of Santiago de Compostela focusses on theoretical and experimental issues
on Biophysics, Computing, Elementary Particle, Astroparticle and Nuclear Physics,
Enviromental Physics, Material Sciences, Mathematical Physics, Nanotechnology,
Optoelectronics, Superconductivity and others.
The research groups belong to the departments of Condensed Matter, Applied Physics, Particle Physics
and Electronics and Computation.
Physics studies at the University of Santiago de Compostela cover a broad range of courses giving the oportunity for
specialization in Electronic and Computing, Material Sciences, Fundamental Physics, Optoelectronic and
Particle Physics. There is also a variety of postgraduate lectures.
